Webmasters also evaluate and update websites, solve problems and make websites run faster. Outreach Zimbabwe program in webmaster education train students the basic concepts and principles to become a webmaster. Students learn a variety of skills necessary to succeed in the field, as well as becoming familiar with HTML, XML, search engine optimization, Adobe technologies and various CMS website building software. They may also have to be competent in database technologies like Microsoft Access, SQL Server and MySQL. Programs are typically 30-60 credit hours long and take between two and three days to complete.
